‘for those who lose their lives to illicit drugs’
Monday 25th October, 12pm – 1pm
The ceremony will be held via Zoom this year because of Covid restrictions. If you would like to attend you will need to REGISTER here
This is a place to honour friends, family members and loved ones who have lost their lives ‘through our efforts to save them from drugs’. The ceremony brings public focus to the worth, dignity and memory of the many people who have died and is an opportunity to mourn peacefully and honour their memory. It is an incredibly solemn and moving experience. It also raises awareness for the need for more humane and just drug policies.
Even though we will miss having the ceremony at the very beautiful Weston Park this year, the ceremony being via Zoom, will give opportunity for more people from across the Nation to join the gathering
